Tuesday, Nov 16th,
We have stopped the 7 day a week operations and would like to thank everyone for the fun we had over the summer. Stay tuned for Fall and Winter jumping. Have a safe and happy Holidays.

Monday, Aug 2nd
Had a great time jumping this weekend with some first timers and experienced jumpers. BBQ, Swimming pool, Pond Swooping, Fun was had by all. Thanks to everyone again.

Sunday, July 25th
The clouds are clearing and we have jumping to do. Make it out to jump.

Friday, July 23,
We have some jumping starting tomorrow Sat morning, and tandems most of the day. A little breezy in the afternoon so come out early.

Sat July 17,
We have great weather but warm. 2 206s are up but we are not planning to fly the Otter. The 206s go to 13K, grass is mowed, the swimming pool is cool and clean. We have been jumping 7 days a week so I havent had time to post each load. Call if you want to jump. 636-484-0084


July 10th,
The Otter is back at the Ranch and the weather is great today. Today is the day to Jump!!

July 7th,
The Otter and 206 should be up and running at the Ranch this weekend. We have some jumping planned for Friday. Come on out and Jump.

June 28th,
The Otter is still Parked at Hannibal but not flying skydivers. Sorry but no Otter or jumping at the Flying V Ranch this Sat and Sun the 4th but we will be jumping Monday the 5th.

June 25th
The Twin Otter will be in Hannibal, MO at Rapid Descent Skydiving from this afternoon until late Sunday.

June 18th,
The weather forecast is great if you like heat. Bring some extra shade and a cooler with your drinks. You can get Ice at Cranes Country Store down the road. My Swimming Pool will be a great way to cool off so bring your trunks and towel. Now the best way to cool of is to get in the SKY, we have jumpers starting at 9am Sat so get here and launch the Otter.

June 15th,
We have jumpers coming out today and jumping all day Wednesday. The forecast does not get any better. Come out and Jump.

June 11,
The weather forecasters say Hot and sunny today. My tools say high clouds in the late afternoon. Either way lets try and build a couple of loads before the weekend.

June 3rd,
The weather forecasters have been wrong lately. Supposed to be cloudy, it ends up clear. I say just come out and if the weather is good we jump. If its not good enough to jump, campfire, BBQ, Hot Tub and Swimming Pool.

Wed May 26th,
We have been jumping the last couple of days and even flew the Otter. I have been so busy that I didnt get a chance to post. Check to see if you have been getting emails and sign up again if you havent. Ill be flying again starting at 6pm so see if you can make a jump before sunset.

Sunday May 23,
Im at the Ranch today and have the 206 to do some jumping, Call if your coming out.

The landing area and Runway is to wet still, No jumping today. Thanks for the interest.

I have people wanting to come out today, It has been so wet and I have to check the Runway. At least the Sun is shinning.


Thanks to everyone that came out and jumped with me Friday. The weather looks warm this week. Get some week day Jumping in after work. Someone help me get this swimming pool in ready for those hot summer days.

The weather is great right now and this evening. I have some jumping to do so come on out and jump with me.

This afternoon the forecast for clouds and winds are improving. I would love to make a couple of jumps and does anyone want to join me?

Monday, Im home and the weather is great. Come and jump this evening if you want.

The forecast was worse that it is today, Winds and clouds are good and Ill be here all day if anyone wants to come out. We will be closed Sat and Sunday while we fly the Cessnas at Fly Free and MRVS.

Jumping Tomorrow early in the morning. Should go on for most of the day. Call if you want to jump too.

Weather looks great tomorrow. We have people coming out starting at 10am.

Fridays forecast is looking good. We will try and get a couple of loads in the air. Already a few coming out so email or call if you are interested.

Experienced Skydivers


Please bring your accuracy skills because this is a relatively small landing area for the Midwest. We recommend that your first jump at the Flying V Ranch be a 5000 foot solo, and that you are conservative until you are familiar with the landing area. The good news is your first jump will be $10.


Experienced Skydiver Requirements


USPA license, reserve parachutes in date, AAD and currency are required. Out of currency experienced skydivers or students should call ahead to schedule instructor availability.

13,000 feet - $25

10,500 feet - $21

5,000 feet - $15


Yes, the Cessna 206 goes to 13,000 feet.
